Motorist Insurance Coverage: What do you need?

When we purchase insurance or if we are in an accident, one of the first things we think about is “Do I have enough insurance coverage?” One of the other things you need to think about is, if YOU are hurt in an accident. Do you have enough coverage to protect yourself or your family member for those special damages, like pain and suffering?
So, when you purchase your insurance, ask your agent about uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage. What that does is in the event that a driver causes injury to you and is inadequately insured or has no insurance at all, the coverage kicks in. It provides that added protection and coverage to protect yourself for those damages, pain and suffering or excess wage loss you may have in the State of Michigan.
Talk to your agent and ask for this coverage. Or, if you haven’t, think about increasing it because the cost for the coverage is pretty small in relation to the other coverages you have in your policy.
Look for the coverage, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage.
