Band Offers Settlement in Nightclub Fire
Rock band Great White will pay $1 million to settle a lawsuit brought on behalf of victims and survivors of a 2003 Rhode Island nightclub fire that killed 100 people. The fire, which took place during a Great White concert performance, has resulted in more than $175 million in settlement offers. The settlement awaits the approval of a federal judge and more than 300 plaintiffs named in the case. Milton J. Valencia, Boston Globe 09/03/2008
