Peppers Absent from Shelves Amid Salmonella Link
Grocers have begun removing jalapeno peppers from their shelves following a Food and Drug Administration announcement Monday potentially linking the produce to a national Salmonella Saintpaul outbreak. However, not all grocery outlets were quick to act on the news, citing limited evidence about the source of the outbreak.
