4 Dead in crashes in West Michigan (Kalamazoo)
WEST MICHIGAN – All lanes are back open after two deadly accidents in west Michigan on Friday, March 3, 2017.
The first happened on southbound U.S. 131 at Stadium Drive where three people are dead, and two others are critical. According to the undersheriff, a driver got on the wrong ramp resulting in a head-on collision.

2 Die in Car Accident in Gladstone
UPDATE: An accident that caused the closure of US-2 has resulted in the death of a husband and wife.
At 1:43 p.m. Friday, Michigan State Police Troopers from the Gladstone Post were dispatched to a two vehicle injury accident on US 2 & 41 in front of the Delona Restaurant.
Investigation of the scene along with witness statements show Jack and Virginia Johnson of Gladstone pulled out of the parking lot of the Delona Restaurant into the path of a northbound vehicle being driven by a 47-year-old female from Rapid River.

Man Killed in Bulldozer Accident
SAGINAW COUNTY (WJRT) – (02/26/17) – An accident has taken the life of a 70-year-old Mid-Michigan man.
The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office tells us the man was tinkering on his personal bulldozer Sunday evening when it shifted into gear, hitting and killing him.

1 dead, 3 hurt in US-2 car crash near Gulliver
DOYLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) – One person from New Jersey was killed in a crash between a semi-truck and a pick-up truck on US-2 near Gulliver early Friday morning.
According to Michigan State Police, troopers from the St. Ignace Post were called to US-2 west of Jackson Road in Doyle Township around 2:30 a.m.

One dead, one seriously injured in Florence County crash
FENCE TOWNSHIP, Wisc. A semi truck driver was killed, and a passenger car driver was seriously injured after the two collided in Fence Township, Wisconsin Friday afternoon.
According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. Friday between a fully loaded semi truck and a car at the intersection of STH 101 and CTH C in Fence Township.
The passenger car driving westbound on CTH C was driven by a 60-year-old Quinnesec, Michigan man. The passenger car pulled into the path of the southbound semi truck, driven by a 54-year-old Wausaukee man.

Double Fatal Crash On Interstate 94 East in Jackson County
JACKSON, Mich. (WILX)- Two people have died in a morning head-on collision on Interstate 94 Eastbound in Jackson County.
The accident between a car and a semi-truck happened just before 4 a.m. at the Sargent Road exit in Jackson. Police tell WILX two people in the car died.

One person dead after three-vehicle crash in Davison Township
DAVISON TWP, MI — The Davison Area Reconstruction Team is investigating after the driver of a minivan died following a three-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Davison Township.
Police responded for the accident around 9 p.m. March 2 after the van heading west on Davison Road, near Vassar Road, veered and struck the driver’s side of a Hart Medical Equipment vehicle traveling east on Davison Road.

Semi-truck rollover crash shuts down southbound I-75
GRAND BLANC TWP, MI — A crash involving a semi-tractor trailer truck Saturday morning forced the closing of a heavily used freeway.
The Grand Blanc Township Police Department says a semi-truck rolled over in the southbound lane on I-75 just south of Fenton Road. The crash happened at 1:38 a.m. Saturday morning, March 4.

Furnace Explosion at Saginaw Plant Kills 1, Injures Another
SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) — One man has died and another has been hospitalized following an explosion at a steel treating plant in Saginaw.
Fire Battalion Chief Thomas Raines says a maintenance crew was working on a furnace Tuesday afternoon when it exploded.
The incident occurred at Hi-Tech Steel Treating.
