IMLAY TOWNSHIP, MI – A Deckerville man is in serious condition after he crashed his motorcycle on Brown City Road, according to a news release from the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Department. Police ID Worker Killed In Lapeer Shop Explosion
LAPEER (WWJ/AP) – Authorities in Lapeer have identified a 34-year-old man who died in an explosion at a machine shop that also injured three other people. The blast happened at around 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lapeer Industriesm, located at 400 McCormick Drive. The Flint Journal reports that the blast killed Bradley Davis of Millington. He’d worked at the plant for about five years.

Michigan man ticketed for non-injury crash with school bus

Sterling Heights contractor killed in trench collapse
A 59-year-old contractor from Sterling Heights died Wednesday afternoon after a trench he was working in while installing sewer pipe for a new house in Grosse Pointe Woods collapsed and a police officer was hurt while trying to rescue him, according to city officials. New Michigan law bars tow trucks from harassing drivers
It’s the kind of service few of us look forward to having the need for – towing services.
And while many are reputable operators, some are known as “wreck chasers” – trolling for business from customers who are stranded in vehicles or at the scene of a car accident.
A new law in Michigan will prohibit tow truck operators from harassing drivers. Legislation signed by Gov. Motorcyclist killed in collision in Shelby Township
A 49-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in a collision with a sports utility vehicle at the intersection of Van Dyke Avenue and 23 Mile Road in Shelby Township, according to police and witnesses. GVSU student killed in Cannon Twp. crash
CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Valley State University student died after his car was struck by a semi-truck in Cannon Township Monday morning. Alexander Aninos, 22, of Commerce Township, was killed in the crash, which happened just before 8:20 a.m. in the 8500 block of Belding Road near Bostwick Lake. Police Respond To Multiple Accidents After Snowfall
The weather played a role in a number of traffic issues along the roadways on Friday. A snowy start to the morning caused many people to wind up on the side of the road. The number of accidents helped keep police departments busy as they responded for help. 9&10 crews saw two accidents along southbound US 131 just south of Cadillac. One driver spun around and went into the woods, the other was pulled off the road by slushy conditions. Emergency crews respond for Davison Township school bus crash
DAVISON TOWNSHIP, MI — Officials on scene say that there were three injuries as a result of the crash. The crash happened, according to police, when a vehicle traveling north on Oak Road failed to stop at a stop sign.
