Medication Overdoses Pose Risks for Children
In a new study, researchers at the C.D.C. found that children are at greater risk for accidental poisoning from over-the-counter and prescription drug medications than from household products. The report estimates that each year as many as 70,000 children, age 18 and younger, visit emergency rooms throughout the nation as a result of poisoning from commonly used drugs such as Tylenol.
