Firm Pleads Guilty to Spiking Body Building Products with Steroids
A California sports”nutrition” company pleaded guilty to selling products labeled as dietary supplements that had been laced with steroids. The illegal products were sold from 2005 to mid-2009 under the brand names, Tren Xtreme and Mass Xtreme. After the guilty plea was announced, a Massachusetts-based sports nutrition company recalled 17 of its dietary supplements.
