McDonald’s Sued by Hepatitis-Stricken Customers
Three lawsuits have been filed against a McDonald’s located in Milan, Illinois. The suits claim the plaintiffs contracted Hepatitis A after eating at the restaurant in June of this year. According to the area’s health department, 31 people in all were sickened after visiting the Milan McDonald’s. Although representatives for McDonald’s said that no one who was knowingly ill worked at the restaurant, 2 employees tested positive for the disease. (8/13) Quad-City Times
